Dottie Dean is a native of northern Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband of more than twenty seven years and their French bulldog, Louise. She is the mother of two daughters and the proud grandmother of three grandchildren. In recent years she has spent more time in Key West, Florida, a place whose history, mystery, and atmosphere helped inspire the setting for Lost Keys. Her storytelling blends suspense, emotion, and the supernatural while exploring themes of family, loss, and the powerful connection between the past and the present.
